Rosuvastatin is used to lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins.” It decreases the risk of heart disease and helps to prevent strokes and heart attacks.
On the other hand Aspirin has anti-platelet action that helps in thinning of blood and prevention of plaque formation in arteries.
Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol. ASPIRIN works by retarding the production of certain natural substances that cause fever, pain, and swelling (Inflammation) and prevents clots by reducing the stickiness of platelets.
