M.O.A– Itraconazole is a synthetic triazole having broad-spectrum antifungal activity and widely used to treat several fungal infections. Itraconazole is a selective inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P450 alpha-demethylase enzyme. An enzyme responsible for the synthesis of ergosterol (an essential component of the fungal cell membrane responsible for the regulation of fluidity and permeability)

Side Effects– Headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, allergic reactions and liver problems.
