DrDklo consists of Diclofenac Sodium 50MG. Diclofenac is a phenylacetic acid derivative and belonging to the class of NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). It is widely preferred medicine for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Diclofenac: Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) having analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It works mainly by inhibiting Cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) that promote the synthesis of prostaglandins (a chemical messenger responsible for the generation of pain, inflammation and fever in the body).
Some common side effects are nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) and dyspepsia (indigestion).
